Lobster Club Sandwich

Product Great meal on a hot summer night!

Ingredients:

  • One third of a pound of fresh picked Lobster meat per sandwich
  • Fresh romaine lettuce washed and dried
  • Your favorite type of bacon cooked till crisp - four slices per sandwich
  • Fresh tomatoes sliced into rounds
  • Bakery fresh whole wheat or white bread - toasted
  • Fresh ground black pepper
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Four long tooth picks

Directions:

Chop the Lobster meat into bite size pieces; remove any cartilage that may have been over looked in the picking process.  Generally you will find this left in the claw meat, feel for any shell fragments that might have been overlooked as well.

You will use three slices of toasted bread per sandwich.  Spread a little mayonnaise on one side of all three slices of toasted bread.  Start the sandwich with the Lobstermeat and then the lettuce for the first layer.  Then place the next slice of toast on top of that and add the sliced tomatoes a little black pepper and then the bacon on top of the tomatoes.  Now add the next slice of toasted bread.

At this point you want to put the long toothpicks into the bread.  Picture four triangles and place the toothpicks into the middle of what will be the four triangle pieces when cut.  Once the toothpicks have been positioned, take a knife and cut the sandwich into four triangles cutting corner to corner.

Sandwich is great served with sweet pickles and chips.
